I visited the site and added a couple of articles. No, it is not a replacement for a "proper" website, but why would you not use the resource as an adjunct? So they pull the site down in a few years, or they don't - who cares?
Really, we do get a bit precious don't we?
Tell me, what's the difference between posting a copy of your articles there and publishing them at other sites where you can submit your articles?
Add some articles, link back to your other sites, and see if it makes any difference to your traffic.
Seriously, to assume that 'every free site' is a danger is ridiculous. It is also a dangerous assumption. Follow the logic through, and you arrive at "anything free is poison"... so what, you aren't going to give anything away either?
